Beringer Leaning OakThe great oak tree behind the Beringer Napa Valley estate spans three centuries of winemaking tradition. The tree started to lean shortly after the Beringer brothers dug their underground wine cellars in the hills behind the home. It was believed the reason for the massive tree's impressive shape was due to its roots creeping into one of the prize barrels in the cellar and slowly soaking up the brothers' vintage. It's a take their guests and one we love to honor in the name of this wine. Leaning Oak wines are only available through the winery, or at Cellar360. |
