Château Minuty is the global leader of Côtes de Provence rosé. The Château Minuty estate was  established  in  the  19th  century  and  is  managed  today  by  the  founder’s  grandsons,  Jean-Etienne and François Matton. Minuty is the last regional estate to 100% hand harvest their grapes in order to ensure perfect quality. Minuty produces its great rosés in local wine character mainly from Grenache and Tibouren varieties. All wines including Rose et Or and M  de  Minuty  Rosé  use  sustainable  farming  practices  free  of  chemicals.  Château  Minuty  is  the  finest  wine  producer  in  Provence  with  over  80  years  commitment  to  quality  in  the  vineyard and the cellar.

Tasting Notes

An  exceptional  cuvée  characterized  by  the  small  quantities  produced.  Cultivated  from  a  clonal  selection of 25 year-old Grenache vines and influenced by Château Minuty’s proximity to the sea, these wines are the quintessence of Provence.

281 –the  Pantone  reference  number  for  the  royal  blue  color,  which  elegantly  cascades  down  the bottle.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Pale pink with crystal reflections.

Nose : Very intense with a beautiful complexity. Fineness of white fruit aromas (peach, melon...) highlighted by iodine notes.

Mouth : Great depth with a mineral structure

Vintage Notes

For  two  consecutive  years  we  have  been  facing  an  exceptional  drought  in  summer  as  well  as  winter. This shortage of water accumulated over two years’ time has had two effects on the vintage:

-  A drop-in yield; down on average by 20% for the Côtes de Provence classification.

-  A concentration of the grapes favorable to aromatic intensity and balance of the wines.

Furthermore,  we  can  count  on  the  excellent  quality  of  this  new  vintage.  The  drought  has  in  fact  concentrated the grape berries and we have produced Rosés with powerful aromas and remarkable balance. By carefully monitoring the ripening progress, alcohol levels have been kept relatively low and therefore won’t exceed thirteen percent.
